EFI TUNING
ECU tuning - What you need to know
Modern dirt bikes now offer a level of performance that keeps riders from having to modify their motorcycles to be competitive in motocross and endurocross. Nevertheless, our competitive minds and the desire to optimize every single detail still leads us in searching for more performance
Manufacturers now produce motorcycles that achieve the performance level of factory bikes from 15 years ago. Their knowledge and technologies are phenomenal. The only downfall is the margin they must keep on the EFI programming to allow the bikes to perform under a wide range of fuels and types of riding across the planet.
It’s been many years now that we put our focus on extracting the most power with the least amount of work required. The easiest solution is found outside the actual engine and will allow an optimisation more than satisfying. Our concept is simple, it is to allow every rider, even with average mechanical skills, to access higher performance levels out of their machines. By installing one of our D-spec tuned GET DATA ECU along with track-tested external modifications, you will now achieve a level of power that is very competitive, even at a high level. If you don’t earn a living riding you bike, you’ll have more than enough.
D-Spec
custom map
-
Basic tuning for motocross
-
Large data base
-
Tested and proven maps
-
Tuned by D-Spec Motosport
We have a large map data base for all your favorite motocross brands such as KTM, Husqvarna, Gasgas, Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki.
These maps works well with basic configurations and standard gas.
It’s at the first step that we gain the bigger performance increase.
Dyno
tuning session
-
Advanced dyno development
-
External component tests included (exhaust-intake)
-
Custom map creation
-
Possibility of maps optimized for 2 gasoline types (100$ extra)
When the time comes to develop even more power, dyno testing is sometimes required. We can confirm the effectiveness of a component and develop a map. This allows you to make calculated changes and even avoid some ineffective changes.
This step is required for “non-standard” configurations.
DYNO TUNING SESSION+ track tuning
-
Professional on-track calibration
-
Expert level tuning
-
Creation of a mapping for each gas type that will be used on the dyno
-
Circuit testing to fine-tune the maps to the driver's preferences
To obtain a result worthy of professionals, the last step is a calibration session on the circuit. Using a data acquisition system (datalogger), we can carry out the final touches of a map. This also allows the motorcycle’s behavior to be personalized to the rider’s tastes. Throttle response, engine braking, traction and departure modes are some of the parameters we can control.
This stage is intended for the most sensitive and demanding pilots.
